1-2 hr talk: Creating the Healthiest Diet
There are two powerful ways to determine the
healthiest diet: Epidemiology and clinical research. The
first shows us
that
we can score diets numerically to see
how well they improve our health (i.e. how long they help
us to
live). Clinical research helps us to understand the
processes in the body that leads to nutrition improving or
reducing
our health. Combining these techniques allows us
to create the best diet for optimal health, including a meal
planner
and a grocery list.

2-3 hr talk: Creating YOUR Optimum Diet
The above (1-1.5 hr talk) description, plus
the emphasis of a diet will shift depending on our specific
goals, our daily
schedule, and our food preferences.
Ultimately, everyone's diet should be as unique as
they are. Understanding some
of the details associated with
proteins, carbohydrates and fats allows us a tremendous
amount of control over our
dietary options to take us to our
weight loss, longevity, energy or performance goals.
