Note that while sodium and potassium are minerals, they are lost in relatively large
amounts in perspiration so I refer to them as “electrolytes” and will answer any
questions on sodium and potassium in the “electrolytes and water” section.
Fiber is discussed in sections (3, 4, 5, 11, and 13) although it has its own section (10).
Where I locate a question is dependent on the emphasis of the question itself. Many
foods that are high in fiber are also high in antioxidants so I have grouped them
together.
Alcohol can have both positive and negative effects on health. One of the negative
effects is on sleep. I have therefore grouped these two topics together. “kcals” means
kilocalories and is what is typically referred to as simply “calories” by the general
public.
